The Bantering Idiots were winners of a national radio talent show named "America's Next Great Talk Stud". The Bantering Idiots submitted a demo of the show to If.net, where daily votes were made to choose the top 5 contestants. Judges from 97.1 KLSX FM in California chose our show as the winner!

The Orlando Weekly also named The Bantering Idiots the "Best New Show" less than a year after the show started in 2008.The Orlando Weekly calls the show "Refreshingly stupid, relentlessly crude, and pretty damn funny".
